Big Sean just dropped the video for the Young Chop-produced “Mula” featuring French Montana. The Detroit rapper goes full blown Tarzan on a mansion chandelier in the video for this song, one of the biggest tracks off the widely successful mixtape named after his hometown city. If you’ve been in a coma for the past few months, head here and grab the Detroit mixtape now.
I’ll be honest – I’ve never really been a French Montana fan. His flow never grew on me and his previous mixtapes lacked substance for the most part. He dropped Mac & Cheese 3 this week and I thought it was a significant improvement. I bet a lot of FM fans will have reservations about that statement, but still. Aside from “Don’t Go Over There” and “Grownups”, the track that stood out that most is “Triple Double” feat. Mac Miller & Curren$y. Also gotta mention that the producer behind the tune is Harry Fraud – his popularity continues to skyrocket.
I started seeing Harry Fraud‘s name surfacing earlier this year on numerous mixtapes I was downloading. Then, he teamed up with Curren$y and dropped Cigarette Boats back in August, and the dude had my full attention. He’s starting to make a lot of noise as a beat producer, so it’s not suprise the Scion A/V Presents campaign brought him on to headline a track. You can head here to Scion A/V for a free download – all you have to do is provide your email. You can cop the instrumental in addition to the one below complete with verses from French Montana & Action Bronson.
